I used some of their music for a couple of older pieces I did, and promptly forgot about them. I really like the stuff that almost looks like a landscape, but you realize it's just pins and lights or something. Put a spaceship in the middle of that, and you'd have a cool little cheap effect.

Cycle 2 Inspiration #8

Want to mix the skinhead look with other warrior looks. These are on the right track. I like the idea behind skinhead dress, built for urban combat. Short hair, form-fitting clothes, and big-assed head stomping boots. Can't say I get how suspenders figures into that, but it looks cool.

Some of the imagery in this is great.

cycle 2 Inspiration #7

This video discusses Jay-Z's debut masterpiece Reasonable Doubt in detail. Some of the things he discusses in the interview about the album, specifically with "Can I Live" and "Dead Presidents", are themes we're working with in the film. We're using the 80s, Reagan-era crack epidemic as a main reference for the drug, and Jay-Z talks about a lot of the mentality and the real fears and feelings and problems that comes from all of that. Shit's genius.
