This video discusses Jay-Z's debut masterpiece Reasonable Doubt in detail. Some of the things he discusses in the interview about the album, specifically with "Can I Live" and "Dead Presidents", are themes we're working with in the film. We're using the 80s, Reagan-era crack epidemic as a main reference for the drug, and Jay-Z talks about a lot of the mentality and the real fears and feelings and problems that comes from all of that. Shit's genius.
